Complaint attended to after photo in Herald

I AM impressed and astonished by the response of the NMB metro. After phoning the municipality and leaving SMSes for nearly a year, I sent The Herald a photo of the problem substation on the corner of Caledon and Poplar streets ("Building used as sleeping place", February 21).

What do you know? They put blade wire up and fixed the fence.

I also put two photos in the library in Uitenhage.

Can you believe it? The NMB metro put new steel fencing up.

Well done, Herald. Without this service we would have waited 10 more years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
