Highbury maintain momentum

HIGHBURY kept their winning momentum when they defeated Butterworth side A1 Stars 3-1 in a Safa Eastern Cape Second Division league soccer match at the NMMU Second Avenue campus on Sunday.

The Port Elizabeth side are fourth from the bottom of the log but have been producing positive results in the second round of the league.

Even though Highbury have not lost in their last three games they are still not safe from relegation.

Highbury coach Garth Dickinson said the team were trying their utmost to move into a position of safety. – Mthetho Ndoni
