Making fun of disabled people is not insanely funny

BEING a fan of the creator of the show The Rise of the Insanity League, I decided to briefly escape the insanity of the world we live in where we are bombarded with endless stories of murder, rape and crime – and have a good laugh.

The show was not bad except they ran out of things to make fun of and thought it wise to take the mickey out of Oscar Pistorius.

Let me make it clear I am not defending him but I bet that a few weeks ago no one would have stooped that low to make jokes of an athlete with no legs ... and as if that was not enough, they went on to make fun of people with no arms pretending to play cricket.

Mr Comedian, have you ever taken the time to consider what it must be like to have no arms...?

We took a guest with who has a son that is severely disabled and I felt the pain on her behalf. Please comedians out there, think twice before you make fun of persons with disabilities.
