ANGRY marchers yesterday called for the ANC regional executive committee in Nelson Mandela Bay to be disbanded and for ousted city leaders Zanoxolo Wayile and Nancy Sihlwayi to be reinstated.

Cosatu, the SA National Civic Organisation, the South African Non-Governmental Organisation Coalition and the Young Communist League marched from the Nangoza Jebe Hall in New Brighton to the party's regional headquarters, Florence Matomela House, in the CBD.

Protesters carried placards reading "Wayile must lead", "Go to bed Oom Ben pensioner", "We welcome the resignation of the ANC REC chairperson" and "We demand the Kabuso Report".
