RUGBY fans can expect the Southern Kings to unleash a new attacking element to their game when they face Super Rugby champions Chiefs at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday with kick-off 7.10pm.
That was the prediction of experienced Kings centre Andries Strauss when he spoke about how his team planned to stop the try-hungry Chiefs juggernaut in its tracks.
Strauss and his live-wire centre partner, Ronnie Cooke, will be key players as the Kings bid to topple the fast-paced New Zealanders who have scored 14 tries in their opening three matches. Strauss was speaking after it was announced that the Kings would start with the same line-up as against the Sharks on Saturday.
"The Chiefs have players in their backline with the ability to create space for themselves and put players away," Strauss said.
