Two foreign nationals have been arrested in Grahamstown for possession of suspected stolen property, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday (13/03/2013).
One of them also faced a charge of money-laundering and theft, said Captain Mali Govender.
The Pakistani and Ugandan were arrested on Tuesday with 10 laptops, five cellphones, two iPads, an e-reader, a video camera, a flat screen television, and two bicycles.
Illegal cigarettes with an estimated street value of R27,000 were seized. The arrests were part of an operation by the police and customs, excise and immigration officials. - Sapa
