Plan for talks with ratepayers scrapped

14 March 2013
A PLAN to involve ratepayers in discussions on key issues facing the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has been cancelled until further notice.

An official said the Bay's budget and integrated development plan public participation programme on the 2011-12 annual report and on human settlements and economic development and recreational services bylaws would no longer go ahead.

Spokesman Mthubanzi Mniki said the reason was "due to unforeseen circumstances". – Rochelle de Kock
