Liquid Lounge party bash bowls all the maidens over

THIS was a busy week for your Skinnerbek as there were parties all over Nelson Mandela Bay.

On Wednesday your Gossip Girl waltzed her sexy butt off to Liquid Lounge where cricketer Lonwabo Tsotsobe was having a birthday party.

It was meant to start at 7.30pm, but knowing our black brothers and sisters, they decided to rock up an hour later.

The birthday boy didn't look bad in his yellow skinny pants with a colourful T-shirt – talk about taking the Skhothane theme to the next level.

The ladies were dressed to the nines and the guys did not disappoint either.

I also spotted the ever-sexy Pakes (Ndizalelwe ebhayi singer), who is always on song in the fashion department.

Lonwabo's sister, Nomsebenzi, was a breath of fresh air in a pink dress and killer heels.

Umhlobo Wenene's DJ Pastor Nozewu was in attendance too with his wife, Lulu. Pastor was wearing designer jeans, a T-shirt and a black blazer, while Lulu looked sexy in her pink mini dress. Talk about a perfect match made in heaven.

I also spotted Tsotsobe's brother, Langa, who was drinking water the whole time – sjoe!

Such a disciplined guy.

Pity Skinnerbek was working the following day.

On Friday, dressed in a sexy outfit, I went to Richmond Hill's For The Love Of Wine occasion.

Even though it was drizzling outside, I could not let that ruin my day. We were going to have cheese and wine with the one and only Black Coffee!

There were fewer than 20 people who came to savour the event. Vuyo Mbongela from NMMU, who is also the spinning facilitator at Virgin Active, kept everyone entertained.

As I started having visions of going home, well-known businessman Mandla Madwara showed up. He immediately introduced himself as the social mayor – I must say he had everyone laughing with his hilarious jokes. Then off we went to the Black Coffee event at Liquid Lounge. It was packed – and I could not even move an inch.

Thando Manana played barman for the night – does he ever rest? Spotted the usual suspects – Pakes, Lungile from Bay TV, and DJ Pastor.

Hey, Mr DJ, next time I'll have you charged for making me dance like that.

We were seated at the Jameson VIP area but unfortunately there was none of that Irish whiskey available – or was it only meant for a select few? Then Black Coffee took over – oh my! I have never danced like that in my life before. I spotted SABC journalist Zolani Moya all over the dance floor . DJ Pastor also did his thing and when I left the place, it was already daylight – talk about serious partying.

On Saturday I went to enjoy jazz at the Opera House. They had a tribute to jazz legends and it was touching to see the likes of Bra Dudley Tito, the only remaining member of the legendary Soul Jazzmen, who was part of the 25-piece band.

The jazz orchestra was directed and conducted by Musa Mavundla, who co-founded the band Afromix.

They took us down memory lane to the times of Miriam Makeba. In my next life I also wanna be a singer – imagine all the attention that I'll get from those sexy guys wearing long pointy shoes. Phew! Talk about day dreaming! Let's meet again next week – ciao ciao!
