J-Bay man jumps off Van Stadens Bridge

Police have verified that the man, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the Van Stadens Bridge in the early hours of Saturday morning (16/03/2013), was 43-years of age and from Jeffreys Bay.

The man jumped to his death at 03:35 on Saturday morning. According to police he is the 88th person to jump off this bridge.

Emergency Services personnel were on the scene early on the scene early on Saturday to retrieve the body.
