Show respect for believers

I WISH to express my bitter disappointment with the Algoa fm morning show team. What was the point of playing a frivolous song about Pope Francis on the morning after his election?

Surely the faith of millions of people does not deserve this ridicule.

I am certain if the song had been about the Islamic faith there would have been calls for beheadings, and the burning and destruction of the station. I am also certain that the team would not even consider playing a frivolous song about the Islamic faith as they would be highly afraid of the consequences.

I do not request an apology as I am sure it would be highly lacking in sincerity. However, I ask that just maybe they could respect the beliefs and faith of everyone, not just the Islamic faith and refrain from inane behaviour. Maybe this is asking too much, but one can hope.
