Comedy makes a fresh comeback

18 March 2013
REGULAR comedy is making a comeback at the Boardwalk in Nelson Mandela Bay with the creation of a new comedy club, which will meet monthly in the complex's amphitheatre.

The host for the first gathering of the Boardwalk Comedy Club is Darren Maule.

A regular MC for Parker's Comedy, Maule is probably better known in Port Elizabeth as a celebrity contestant on the hit TV series, Survivor.

He will be joined by Jason Goliath and Ndumiso Lindi on stage on Friday March 30 from 8pm. Goliath says he couldn't put all his funny into a small body, so he expanded it to a larger physique to keep his fans on the edge of their seats.

Lindi is known for his trademark hat and funky urban, stylish look.

His material is described as an honest and hilarious observation of everyday life in South Africa.

Catch the three funny men in the amphitheatre for R35 from Computicket and see for yourself if they are as funny as they say.
