Rugby fireworks ahead

WHILE there have been several skirmishes so far, Eastern Cape schools rugby moves into full swing on Thursday when the popular Graeme College Rugby Day takes place in Grahamstown.

Incorporating teams from all over the region, plus Westville High from Durban, this is one of the biggest single-day festivals in the country because it also includes under-14 and u-15 teams.

Starting at 8.30am there will be 22 matches played on three fields during the day, culminating in the final clash at 4.10pm on the Somerset Field between Graeme and Selborne.
