FORMER Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni yesterday blamed the deepening crisis in education on the slack attitudes of teacher union Sadtu and parents.
He also said any politician who promised to create jobs without first urgently fixing education was a liar.
"I call a spade a spade, not a big spoon. The problem with our education is not [the lack of] money. Content is the problem," Mboweni said in Port Elizabeth.
