Heatherbank rescue plan

20 March 2013
Michael Kimberley

A TRUST for Heather- bank Primary School is seeking stakeholders to help resurrect the school.

Based in Charlo, the school was closed last year after it failed to meet a standard of education expected by the landowner.

Chris Lovemore of The Lovemore Charitable and Educational Foundation Trust said: "It was really not working out. Too many things started to go wrong."

At the time, the education department was in charge of the school.

Lovemore is also the landowner and the school was built in 1974 by the late David Lovemore and his wife, Enid.

Potential stakeholders should e-mail Lovemore at lovemore@intekom.co.za
