Naughty pictures violence case delayed

THE long-awaited domestic violence case involving a father and his lawyer wife, who was a finalist in a Mrs Port Elizabeth beauty contest, will be heard next month.

The parties cannot be named because minor children are involved.

The Young Park man and his brunette wife made headlines last year when another woman – formerly from the Bay – accused the lawyer of having had an affair with her husband of 13 years.

The other couple's divorce is pending at the Durban Regional Court, where claims of the affair were aired in the divorce papers.

Papers before court also disclosed that the model, who is prominent in legal circles, sent nude photographs of herself to the married man, who is an executive at General Motors South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal branch.

The matter was on the roll in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court on Monday, but was postponed to April 4 to get a magistrate from out of town.

That is because the 37-year old mother is also an officer of the North End court where she defends clients on charges of a similar nature.
