Sex pest claims against top cop

A POLICE officer in command of the Storms River station is embroiled in allegations of sexual harassment, the latest of which include that he ate a "saliva-soaked piece of chocolate" taken from a married warrant officer.

The woman – whose allegation came to the fore last week – is one of two who claim incidents of harassment by Captain Mzoxolo Majamani. The other, a 25-yearold typist, has laid a complaint.

The women cannot be named.

On March 5, Majamani, 42, was hauled before a disciplinary hearing after a typist alleged he had pulled her bra strap and touched her thigh.

Officers close to the case said Majamani turned the saga into a racial issue when he allegedly informed the hearing the charges were nothing but a smear campaign orchestrated by coloured police officers at the station who wanted to topple him.
