Kings will rely on boot of Dunlop

22 March 2013

THE accurate boot of EP Kings flyhalf Wesley Dunlop will be crucial when the Kings clash with defending champions Western Province in a Vodacom Cup rugby match at the NMMU Stadium tonight (7pm).

Dunlop's reliable boot has had an impact in the Kings' opening two matches and skipper Mpho Mbiyozo will be hoping the pivot's radar is again fine-tuned.

In their opening game, the Kings snatched a 20-20 last-gasp draw against the Argentine Pampas XV and last weekend they beat the Border Bulldogs 30-22 in East London.

EP Kings coach David Maidza said he was impressed with the quality of rugby played in East London, especially in the first half, where the Kings managed to open a 22-10 lead before the break.
