A HANDSOME new cash incentive is just one reason the EP Kings need to bounce back from their heart-breaking 33-32 Currie Cup rugby defeat at the hands of the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday.
While the loss has almost certainly ended their chances of winning the First Division, the Kings must beat the Griffons at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday to keep their season alive.
The fourth-placed Kings have now set their sights on ending second so that they can set up a home semi-final and scoop a huge cash bonus dangled in front of them by SA bosses.
In a surprise move, SA Rugby have announced that the winners and runners-up of the First Division will walk away with R1-million and R500000 respectively at the end of the season.
