"HE taught me that I must get every single ball back in the court ... now the ball is back in his court."
These were the words of Suellen Sheehan, one of the alleged victims of former tennis star Bob Hewitt, 73, who is facing two charges of rape and one of indecent assault.
Hewitt was due to make his first appearance in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court on Friday, but the Australian-born former champion, who now lives in Addo, was "too sick to attend".
The charges stem from several alleged incidents in the 1980s and 1990s, when Hewitt was a tennis coach in South Africa.
