WESTERN Suburbs are setting up a business league and are inviting companies and other organisations to enter the competition which will run over six Sunday mornings, starting on September 29.
Aimed at introducing bowls to a new range of people, the competition has been sanctioned by EP Bowls and will be sponsored by the Walmer-based Youth Cricket Academy.
A total of 12 teams will compete on a round-robin basis with two games of two-bowl trips over 12 ends being played. The final round is scheduled for November 17.
Teams may change their players from game to game, providing there is at least one bowls newcomer playing at all times.

WESTVIEW have tabs-in bowls for men (casual wear) and women on Wednesdays (9am). Other playing sessions are Saturdays, tabs in 1.45, and Sundays at 9am.
