METRO MONEY GRAB
IT IS obvious that Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela is another money-grabbing individual. Works for three months, then shams illness for six to eight weeks and then decides that if she resigns she could make her fortune out of a cash-strapped metro after they spent something like R500000 to find her. Now Roland Williams, who was suspended on full pay and did not work for a year, is about to get a fat increase. What do the poorer members of the ANC think of this? Perhaps it is time for change.
INSTEAD of giving people like Roland Williams and others a pay increase, how about fixing the street lights that are out at night and pose a danger.
ROLAND pay hike: Where is the Public Protector in all of this madness of corruption, untruth and fraud? Why do they keep getting away with it? When will someone or somebody come to our rescue?
FAT pay hike? For what? There goes our rates money again. So sick of this. When are the NMBM going to be investigated and ousted?
THE library workers were promised a four-notch upgrade years ago. Now there is no money. But then you hear of a R3.2-million handshake and pay hike. Where do they get the money from?
TO pay off the municipal manager who resigned after only five months is an obvious "admission of guilt" payment!
SURELY the municipal manager should be refunding the municipality a large sum? She has a five-year contract which she is backing out of.
LINDIWE Msengana-Ndlela must be paid out and "Oom Ben" must be held accountable for her not been able to fulfil her duties because of his interference.
THE cleaning of verges is all NMBM can afford to do as all our hard-earned rates money goes on increases, golden handshakes and "mistakes". I will be voting for the DA, enough said.
SO corporate services acting boss Mod Ndoyana now rewards Roland Williams and Dumisani Mbebe for getting away with alleged fraud and theft of ratepayers' money. Back-dated to 2009 nogal. Is it a case of "loot before the DA takes over?"
PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma declares his income yearly to parliament. Does that include Schabir Shaik's and Vivian Reddy's incomes as well?
WHY do Piranha Club stories begin at the end and end at the beginning?
I NOTICE that the Piranha Club is printed in a totally haphazard order, jumping from one storyline to another and back again in random sequence. Now I see that, this week, it is actually being printed in REVERSE order! Is there any editorial reason for this? Or is it carelessness?
It was a technical glitch, but it will run in the correct order from now on – The Editor
NOT voting DA ever again. We had a family get-together last week and discussed the voting. We counted up to 75 in the family who will be voting for another party and all stated we have friends and neighbours that will not vote DA. Do your sums. What you have done to Stanford Slabbert is not acceptable.

AUTO INDUSTRY STRIKE
ARE the unions trying to wreck the country? If the auto plants move to other countries there will be 80000 unemployed. Component suppliers will fold, including the tyre plants. Job losses will be horrendous. Is this what the unions want?
WHAT a shocking result for EP women's hockey. The team's results are only as good as the administration.
EX HOCKEY SUPPORTER
THE so-called manager and his subordinates at Livingstone Hospital mortuary should be ashamed of themselves. How can you let a person wearing only a pair of surgical gloves clean the floor of the fridge where bodies are kept? He was wearing his own clothes and not even anything against the cold temperature in that fridge. Even though he is doing it as part of community service, he still deserves respect. I just wonder how you would treat someone close to you. Imagine all those germs he took home, jeopardising his families health. Sies, you are DISGUSTING.

OSCAR ON TRIAL
THE SA "justice system" is a farce. How can Oscar Pistorius's trial be put back for another six months? In the "real world" he would already have been in jail for six months.
HOW can Dina Pule be commended for presenting herself to parliament to explain her fraud issues? She should be in the dock!
DA councillor Chris Roberts really cares for his Ward 7 needy families and proves it by helping regularly with our ministry's feeding project.
I AM very touched by the story of a brave mom who refuses go give up on her baby born with a rare genetic condition. She deserves to be named hero of the day, especially as lots of normal babies are being abandoned by their mothers. Good luck to you.
BUKELWA BABI, KWAMAGXAKI
PLEASE can the editor make use of the policy of closing subjects that have been going on indefinitely? Particularly the correspondence on barking dogs. It has become tedious. Quite frankly it drives me barking mad.
