YOUTH from Port Elizabeth's northern areas are preparing to make representations to the National Planning Commission's Youth Engagement Summit on October 5.
The Northern Areas People Development Initiative (Napdi), in partnership with NMMU, Famhealth and the commission are hosting briefing sessions where young people can share their "input to create a new future for youth, by youth and with youth".
Those between the ages of 17 and 30 representing faith-based groups, sporting forums, political movements and school are invited to attend the sessions.
Yesterday, a session attended by about 30 people was held at the Famhealth Medipark in Gelvandale.
