THE ANC leaders are not failing us, but our ANC policy on cadre deployment is not loud enough.
In most senior positions in all government spheres we have people employed to advance transformation, the national democratic revolution and deliver concrete services to our people, but because of their political interests to make the ANC-led government fail they are sabotaging these programmes.
Even during protests they are safe, while it's them who are given a mandate to deliver services to our people.
There are senior officials employed specifically to ensure service delivery, but because of their unfortunate agenda towards the ANC they are sabotaging so that the community and voters can be angry against the ruling party.
I therefore move that, as the ANC, let's be loud on cadre deployment.
Have directors who will advance transformation, duly adopted ANC policies and the National Development Plan. We must be unapologetic for that.
I might sound controversial, but it's the best way to advance our agenda. As we approach elections, these officials are keen to ensure that there are no services to the people so that blame can be laid on the ANC.
We as the ANC must not fear, we have many professionals, very competent people, we are equal to the task. Let's have a political screening process. Thumbs up to cadre deployment.
