DIPAL Bhana shone for Aryan A as they fought back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat Olympia 6-5 in a Nelson Mandela Bay premier league table tennis thriller this week.
Under pressure, Bhana came to the rescue for Aryan A, winning all his matches, including a close encounter with Monde Cola, 7-11 11-6 14-12.
In another keen contest, logleaders Booysens Pride defeated Aryan B 10-1, although the final margin was not a true reflection of the match. It was a nail-biting contest, with Michael de Kock and Chris Witbooi (Booysens Pride) showing good form to help their team win.
In the remaining match, NMMU A outplayed St Mark and St John 9-2, with Kurt Adams and Thembelani Mogodla winning all their matches.
Mogodla (NMMU) had an exciting clash against Robert Kuscus, beating him 4-11 11-8 12-10.
