A KNYSNA teacher accused of raping and sexually molesting a 12-year-old girl during school hours denied the charges yesterday, saying he was merely holding onto the pupil's jersey to "pull himself up" from the floor.
The Fraaisig Primary teacher was arrested last week after the acting school principal allegedly caught him with the girl in a photocopying room.
