SOUTHERN Kings rugby chief executive Charl Crous has welcomed confirmation that a sixth South African team will take part in Super Rugby from 2016.
Crous was reacting after Sanzar boss Greg Peters assured South African rugby chiefs they would be able to field six teams when Super Rugby is expanded in 2016.
"The inclusion of a sixth team from South Africa into the Super Rugby tournament from 2016 has always been on the cards, but it is great to hear that these issues are already being discussed at top level," Crous said
"This decision bodes well for the future of the Southern Kings."
