PASTORS and worship leaders who are to speak at the Arise Conference in Port Elizabeth hope their messages will give women hope and encouragement.
The annual conference starts today at the Word of Faith Christian Centre in Mangold Park. This is the eighth year the conference is being held.
Word of Faith Christian Centre's pastor Marianna Crompton said Arise was one of the biggest conferences for women in the Eastern Cape, and was about blessing and empowering them.
"The conference is open to women from all walks of life. We find that women hardly ever get a chance to relax and be empowered at the same time, so this is a great opportunity for that."
The conference would have an array of speakers who would each deliver a different message for women. They included Lucinda Dooley, Nomsa Phillip, Janine Price and Wyona Norman.
