FROZEN perlemoen worth more than R1-million was confiscated from several New Brighton houses in Port Elizabeth yesterday just hours after police raided another house and confiscated a haul worth R500000.
Police spokesman Captain Johan Rheeder said 81 bags of perlemoen were found in seven freezers at houses in one New Brighton street at about 2am.
"After the first arrest of a 48-year-old man, they found the 81 bags in different houses," he said.
Two more suspects were arrested and the three would appear in the New Brighton Magistrate's Court today. – Shaanaaz de Jager
