PETROSA's floating oil production facility is scheduled to dock at the Port of Ngqura this morning.
The platform, known as the Orca, was scheduled to dock yesterday but was delayed due to weather while en route to Port Elizabeth.
Port of Ngqura harbour master Captain Thulani Dubeko said they were fully prepared for the docking.
The Orca is scheduled to remain in the port as part of a 12-month refurbishment and upgrade project to meet the requirements of a Special Period Survey certification.
The platform has produced 46800181 barrels of crude oil since 2008. – Gareth Wilson
