PORT Elizabeth paralympian Kevin Paul is using his talents in the swimming pool to teach children with physical and mental disabilities the importance of water safety and the joy of swimming.
The two-time Olympic medallist – who won a gold in Beijing in 2008 and silver in London last year – hosted a clinic for 39 children at Profiles Health Club yesterday.
Some of the children taking part live at the Khaya-Cheshire Home and attend the Cape Recife Primary School, Merryvale School and Montessori school.
Paul, 22, said he had wanted to hold such clinics since he first competed in the Paralympics in 2008.
