TODAY is D-Day for Eastern Province rugby as they await a landmark decision on whether the Kings will be promoted to the top tier Currie Cup Premier Division next season.
"We are hoping the call will be a favourable one and that, going forward, it will help us prepare for our re-entry into Super Rugby in 2016," EP Kings head coach David Maidza said.
Rugby chiefs will gather in Johannesburg to discuss a number of issues, but it is the possible promotion that will generate the most interest.
The Kings will be represented by president Cheeky Watson and chief executive Charl Crous who are quietly confident they will return with good news for supporters.
