ANTI-APARTHEID activist and Port Elizabeth businessman Mkhuseli "Khusta" Jack's mother, Namse Nolungile Jack, 90, died at the Humansdorp Hospital last week.
Born in June 1923 in Alexandria, the devout Christian and Bantu Church of Christ stalwart was a mother of eight children, five of whom are still alive.
Khusta Jack said: "I never thought the day would come when my mother was no longer breathing. Last Thursday [when she died] was one of the most traumatic days of my life.
