KINGS coach David Maidza says his team are "up and ready" for tomorrow's Currie Cup First Division semifinal against the Leopards despite this week's boardroom drama when SA rugby chiefs voted against Eastern Province playing top-tier rugby.
Adding extra spice to the semifinal showdown are allegations that the Leopards were one of the teams who voted against the Kings playing in the Premier Division next season.
"For most of us who have been here from the beginning at the Kings this is nothing new. It is another little hurdle we must get over and I think this will be motivation for us," Maidza said.
