THE Whiteside Trophy, to be contested at the Grahamstown Bowling Club this weekend, brings the curtain down on the 2013 calendar.
Like the Inggs Cup, this should be a tight contest. It is played under the same format as the Inggs Cup, a competition where only two points separated the top six clubs. It required a shot profit count-out to determine the winners – Mill Park.
As a separate competition, there are also the combined results of the Inggs and the Whiteside up for grabs and, considering the position going into the Whiteside, this is wide open.
Mill Park, however, have been dominant in combined fours lately and should be favourites for the titles.
