BLOOM Callies and West Lake bring down the curtain on the Nafa season on Sunday when they clash in the Mala Moodaley KO Cup final at Gelvandale Stadium.
While Callies, who are celebrating their 38th anniversary, have never won the coveted trophy, West Lake won the competition just less than 20 years ago.
"We have had an excellent run considering that we were promoted at the beginning of the season, and winning the trophy will be the cherry on top," West Lake spokesman Eugene Fortuin said.
"Our coach Lionel Terblanche ... has done an excellent job with players who come from the impoverished Salt Lake area."
Callies, who lost the Premier League race to Glenville at the death, will be looking to pick up their second piece of silverware this year after winning the Nafa Easter Soccer tournament.
The Cup Finals Day kicks off with a legends match at 9.15am. The junior finals and women's final will be played during the day.
Entry fee is R8 for adults and R5 for children, but children under six years of age get in for free.
