PLEASE Mr Fihla, get real. Now a garden of remembrance when there are so many other problems in Port Elizabeth that need attention.
We need jobs, housing, service delivery and much, much more, and you want to build a garden of remembrance. We need to pay the people who have been promised increases and have not received them.
We need to stop the corruption within the municipality and you want to build a garden. Who is going to service this garden anyway after it is built?
There is insufficient monies in our coffers as it is, according to the bale-out request that we asked for, and you want to build a garden.
Stop wanting to waste our money.
