CACADU councillors were rapped over the knuckles yesterday for the misuse of their 3G internet cards and exceeding their daily subsistence allowances at Port Elizabeth's Town Lodge during their five-day capacity building programme.
Mayor of the Cacadu District Municipality Khunjuzwa Kekana said it was time for councillors to take responsibility for their laptops and internet modems.
"It has come to my knowledge that some of us are misusing and abusing our 3Gs. You are calling us and saying your internet is not working, yet you exceeded the limit.
