FUGITIVE and convicted fraudster Patrick Shelver is expected to return to South Africa to testify in the ongoing R2.5-million Greenwood Primary School fraud saga which is set to be heard in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court next week.
A warrant for former school principal Shelver's arrest was issued in April after he skipped the country and moved to Thailand after his conviction.
He had been accused with prominent attorney Michael Randell of defrauding the Park Drive primary school out of R2.5-million by pocketing money from the sale of property owned by the school. A third man implicated in the fraud, Michael Lascot, has since died.
