ABATHEMBU King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo has accused the ANC of accommodating thieves who steal from the public purse.
The king, who has joined the DA, was addressing mourners at the funeral of former ANC activist Mlungisi "Mntwanutshabile" Mshotane in Nkondlo village, Ngcobo, on Saturday. ANC general-secretary Gwede Mantashe, NEC member Fikile Xasa, provincial secretary Oscar Mabuyane, Contralesa president Nkosi Phathekile Holomisa and businesses leaders also attended.
"We cannot have leaders who are thieves and continue voting for them. There are people within the ANC leadership who have no backbone and instead they worship a Zulu at our expense. While the ANC has a long-standing principle to treat people equally, the leaders are doing the opposite," he said. – Lulamile Feni
