A TRAFFIC officer on the night senior public prosecutor Clive Killian was arrested for drunk driving said he was so unruly at the police station that he had to be handcuffed.
Mondi Jakala told the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court yesterday he was forced to intervene when Killian, 53, tried to leave the police station despite having been arrested. Traffic officials, who held a roadblock on the corner of Soudien and Old Grahamstown roads in Bethelsdorp that Sunday evening, said Killian initially refused to stop when he was waved down.
Killian, of Sunridge Park, oversees the prosecutors at Port Elizabeth's lower courts.
