COEGA Development Corporation chief executive officer Pepi Silinga and his wife Pumla have won, with costs, a dispute involving a property they bought last year.
The Silingas bought a share in a property in November last year owned by niece and uncle Nosizwe and Malibongwe Kraai, of which they had inherited 75% and 25% respectively. The case was heard in the Port Elizabeth High Court last Thursday.
First applicant Nosizwe Kraai entered into an agreement with the Silingas and sold a 50% share to them, the second and third applicants, in November. Meanwhile second respondent Malibongwe Kraai had sold the entire property, with signatures from both of them, to third and fourth respondents Mzwandile and Zanele Mphahla.
