THE Institute of Municipal Engineering of Southern Africa conference got off to a great start in Nelson Mandela Bay yesterday, with a record 960 delegates attending.
Themed "Municipal Engineering: Meeting People's needs", the Imesa annual conference, being held at the Boardwalk, started yesterday and ends tomorrow.
Yesterday, the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University choir treated the delegates to a flash mob.
Imesa spokeswoman Nicola Theunissen said the number of delegates at this year's conference was the highest of the previous 76 conferences.
