"GOD gave us the gift of 86400 seconds today, to say thank you!” – William Ward

Disaster was adverted after a huge tree collapsed over the busy lanes of Target Kloof at the weekend.

I was woken up by the noise of chainsaws after midnight, and noticed emergency vehicles and men working very hard in terrible wet and cold conditions after the huge tree fell. Praise must be given to these men who worked under these terrible conditions till the early hours of Sunday morning.

The rain came pelting down at times, but these emergency disaster folk kept on working. We would like to say thank you to all involved.

You deserve to be thanked and praised for a job well done in such terrible conditions as this does not go unnoticed. Thanks!
