MY opinion about undelivered school books is that Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga and all the staff involved should be fired with immediate effect, as she stated on national TV she would never resign and that she had put all her faith in her employees.
The question now begs an answer. If she thinks everyone concerned in this debacle is doing a great job, herself included, and that all the children who beg to be educated and teachers who have to teach without school books are all right, it proves nobody is dedicated to their profession and that they are in the wrong job.
If the minister got involved last year, we may not have had this problem again. Anyone in her position should have their finger on the pulse at all times, especially because of the importance of the matter – involvement of our children and the future of our country.
All the children in this country have the right to be educated but for some reason the government seems to find any excuse not to do that ... education is power.
