IT is all systems go for the inaugural Uitenhage music festival, Duets 2012, which kicks off on Friday night.
The aim of the event is to showcase South African artists – such as former Idols and SA’s Got Talent contestants – to Nelson Mandela Bay.
"We want people of our community to enjoy a high-quality event,” prominent Uitenhage businessman and co- organiser Kurt Muller said.
The show is set to host the likes of former Idols winners Karen Kortje (2005) and Shasha Lee Davids (2009).
The show will start at 8pm. Tickets at Computicket are R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12.
