YES to the death penalty!

Murder and rape (statistics) are going up, and there is nothing the citizens can do to protect themselves against these crimes.

Citizens have to revamp their houses so they look like jails to try and keep the criminals out, and even then it doesn’t always help. There are many criminals who have been released from jail who say they would rather go back in, as they get everything for free while on the outside they have to pay for "stuff”.

The elderly have to pay for old age homes, medical attention and have to, sometimes, wait hours for police or an ambulance (to assist them), while in jail criminals get boarding, food, TV, medical attention and education – all for free.

The citizens that get murdered, attacked, raped and assaulted still pay for the things those who attacked them get (for free).

By paying their tax, they also take care of the criminals.

Personally I would rather give my tax money to those who really need it.

PLEASE reinstate the death penalty!

It will sort out the overcrowding problem and criminals will again have respect for the police and justice system.

Because now they go to jail and get three meals a day, clean clothes, education, satellite TV and drugs.

YES, there are too many murders.

YES it should be brought back but I don’t think it would as long as the ANC is in power, because it is going to start with them first.

I THINK the whole country will be better off with the death penalty being reinstated. Criminals have no regard for their fellow people, so why should we put them in jail for life and support them.

Get rid of the rubbish so that we can live in peace and harmony.

I AGREE fully that the death penalty be reinstated as soon as possible. If you kill, you deserve the same.
