EP ten-pin bowlers in national squad

TWO Eastern Province ten-pin bowlers, Garreth Hechter and Morne van der Berg, have been named in the national men’s squad to participate at the European Championship in Vienna from August 16-26.

Both have previously represented South Africa at international events. They recently took the SA doubles title in Johannesburg and have bowled the perfect game of 300 pins – 12 consecutive strikes in a game – at separate events.

The rest of the squad is: Francois Louw, Keith Doolabh, Wynand Bothma and Spike Knowles.
