THE winners of the King Cars Thursday morning men’s pairs competition played on June 28 at Western Suburbs were Paul Robinson and Fred Simpson.



THERE is mixed bowls at Park Drive on Wednesday morning. Tabs in 9am. Visitors welcome. Other Park Drive playing sessions are: Tuesday 2pm, Saturday 2pm, Sunday 9.15am, and public holidays 9am.

Visitors, prospective members, and new bowlers welcome.

There is a Black & White men’s drawn pairs on Fridays, tabs in 8.55am. Visitors welcome. The fourth round of the Consolidated Financial Planning-PEBC women’s pairs competition will be played on Wednesday. All players must report by 8.30am.

The PEBC women’s Classic due to be played on July 12 will now be played on October 17. There are still a few vacancies. Inquiries: Elizabeth du Toit, (041)373-5570.



THE EP squad practice on July 15 will take place at 8.30am at Western Suburbs. Bring your own lunch. Inquiries: Leone Stirk, (041)366-1074 or 083- 454-9002.



THE players below must report at Walmer Eighth Avenue on July 15 (8.30am) for a squad trial. Another squad trial will be held at PEBC on August 12, which will include all those not named below.

The selectors have decided to give those invited to trials two opportunities to prove their potential for possible selection to the EP Inter District sides.
