THE formation of a bowls club in KwaNobuhle is nearing reality and finance has been allocated to both New Brighton and KwaNobuhle for the formation of clubs.
Land has been set aside at the Sports Centre where hockey and soccer are played.
The players have been promised a bowls mat so that the 40 members can practise their skills. The Uitenhage Club will offer them regular coaching sessions at which KwaNobuhle hope to include schoolchildren.
UITENHAGE will be hosting their annual charity day on August 9 in aid of the Uitenhage and Despatch Cansa Association. All bowlers are welcome to join in a tabs in fours morning (9am). There will be prizes and raffles.
