ON behalf of the Missionvale Care Centre and the people of Missionvale, I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful response we received to our request for emergency assistance over the past weekend.
It proved once again that the people of Port Elizabeth remain committed to helping local communities which are experiencing extreme distress as a result of natural disasters.
We know that charitable institutions regularly call on business for support and appreciate that companies are experiencing difficult trading conditions at present. The ready willingness of the companies to come to the aid of the very poor community of Missionvale is thus even more appreciated.
